The Cash Cows Family

We happily get asked to play a whole lot of shows. Unfortunately we can’t be in 2 places at the same time. We are working on flying/teleportation but in the meantime, we are blessed to have a family of extremely talented musicians who can provide The Cash Cows experience you know and love. If one or both of us are unavailable we will always endeavour to hook you up with our talented associates…

Robbie Humphries

Since being thrown onto the mean streets of South Manchester aged 15 with guitar in hand and a case out front, Robbie has shared his music all over the world. He met Brendan at a house party one night in Newcastle and they decided to go busking. The following day The Cash Cows was born.

He has written and produced more records than he remembers and can always be counted on to play one more tune.

Brendan Rowley

Since starting on the double bass at the tender age of 9 Brendan has played with dozens of bands, orchestras ensembles in myriad different genres, performed on 5 continents, and played more shows than most people have had hot dinners.

He writes and produces original music under the moniker Brendan Rowdy. Has Drum n Bass tunes out with Rowdy Touch. And is currently recording and collaborating with pop singer Ivy Irons.

Since forming The Cash Cows with Robbie in 2004 the dynamic duo have played every kind of weird and wonderful gig you can possibly imagine. And they just keep on coming!

MEG Cavanaugh

London-based American chanteuse Meg has toured internationally as a vocalist and songwriter. She has released two solo albums, toured as the female vocalist for Matt Bianco, and works as a jazz singer in London.

She brings the vibes to every show and can currently be found fronting The Lady Petrol Band. As a solo artist and vocalist, she has played internationally and locally at Ronnie Scotts, The Blue Note (Tokyo, Milan, Nygoya), The Jazz Cafe, Soho House and festivals in Switzerland, Austria, Budapest and many more.

Ritchie McCabe

Ritchie is a true professional, a safe pair of hands, and has been wowing crowds at festivals, bars, pubs, clubs, theatres and weddings for 20 years & counting. Playing a wide range of popular covers from the 50’s up to present day, Ritchie’s versatility makes him a perfect deputy for Robbie and a force all on his own. Excellent song choices, expert guitar work and his love of everything musical all combine to provide an energetic and unforgettable performance.

His musical highlights include regular shows at Edinburgh Festival; Cork Jazz Festival; Londons 100 Club; and a performance at the 2012 Olympics. We are lucky to have Richie in The Cash Cows Family. A safe pair of hands who can always get the party jumping!
